The Best Little Art Walk in Town! The North Beaches Art Walk features 30+ local artists who display their work both on the street and in local businesses. Enjoy strolling by beaches fine art and crafts, partaking in good food and listening to music! Visit their website for the latest information on artists and locations. The City of Atlantic Beach brings the three award-winning artists from the 2012 Arts in the Park to the Adele Grage Cultural Center. First prize winner was Tim Bullard for his pottery; Tanya Amorose placed second for jewelry; and Lucy Clark, placed third for pottery. All three artists will be on display through the month of May. A reception for the artists will be held during the North Beaches Art Walk on May 17th, from 6-8 p.m. and the public is invited to meet the artists. The exhibit is free and open to the public weekdays, 8-12 noon and 1 to 4:30 pm. Adele Grage Cultural Center is located at 716 Ocean Blvd, Atlantic Beach. Highlights include the following: Music on the Ocean Stage featuring 9 bands starting at noon and running until 9 pm. A second stage will be located in the Art Show area at the corner of First Street and Orange Street in Neptune Beach with music beginning at 11:30 until 6:00. Beaches Town Center Agency is the official sponsor of “Dancin’ in the Street”™ and will be responsible for all sales of bricks, t-shirts, beer and frozen drinks. The KIDS ZONE is sponsored by 200 FIRST STREET. The area offers a $12 wristband for inflatable rides, putt putt golf, a Ferris wheel, games and snacks in an alcohol free area. Local schools and clubs work this area and share in the proceeds of the day. Last year, 200 First Street helped these organizations earn almost $5,000 total. The Art Show will feature local and regional artists with talents in painting, jewelry, hand crafted glass, pottery, wood carvings and more.
