The Atlantic Beach City Board Member Review Committee (BMRC) will hold an electronic public meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Two or more members of any Atlantic Beach board or committee may be in attendance.
Pursuant to Governor DeSantis’ Executive Order Number 20-69, issued on March 20, 2020, “Local government bodies may utilize communications media technology, such as telephonic and video conferencing, as provided in Section 120.54(5)(b)2. Florida Statutes.” Pursuant to Section 2-403, Code of Ordinances, and to an emergency order executed March 27, 2020 as re-instituted by the Mayor and City Manager, the City Manager has adopted administrative rules that are necessary and appropriate to implement communications media technology, and to set the time, place, rules of conduct and procedure.
Public input may be made in advance by email; by placing written comments in the drop box located in front of City Hall, 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach; or during the meeting via video conference. Instructions are provided below.

This September 22, 2020 BMRC meeting will be a webinar conducted electronically (or “virtually”) with no members of the public in attendance at City Hall.
Members of the public may provide written comments and/or materials related to the business of this Committee (1) to be read during this meeting or (2) to be entered into the record without being read during the meeting. To do this, email your comments/materials to the City Clerk, Donna Bartle, by noon, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at email@example.com, or by placing them in the Drop Box outside of City Hall 800 Seminole Road, by noon, Monday, September 22, 2020. Please provide the title, “BMRC- Written Comments/Materials – September 22, 2020”, and provide your name (required), address and email address. If you desire for your written comments to be read into the record during the meeting, please indicate so and limit them to 300 words. Only written comments of 300 or fewer words will be read into the record during the meeting. All other written comments and materials received by the deadline will be entered into the meeting record and distributed to the BMRC and appropriate staff before the start of the meeting.

Please register at least one hour prior to the start of the meeting to confirm your login credentials. You will see the message “waiting for meeting to start”. You will be able to re-connect at the appropriate time.
Please re-connect at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the meeting to provide public comment. You will be called upon when it is your turn to speak.
Note: Due to new security guidelines, you will not be able to connect after each meeting starts.
