Reminder to Atlantic Beach residents: Garbage and recycling collection routes are pushed back by one day when Thanksgiving and Christmas fall on a scheduled collection day. So, this week, if your normal collection day is Wednesday (Christmas Day), you will be serviced Thursday; if your normal collection day is Thursday, you will be serviced Friday; and if your normal collection day is Friday, you will be serviced Saturday.

Please remove all tinsel, ornaments, and tree bags. And please do not put Christmas trees on the beach; trees are no longer used for dune restoration on Jacksonville’s beaches.
