The “Keep the Ferry” task force and the City of Atlantic Beach are sponsoring an exhibit of paintings and photographs of the St Johns River Ferry & River. The local artists’ exhibit at Adele Grage Cultural Center will emphasize the importance of preserving the ferry for our city. The reception and one-week exhibit will be at the Adele Grage Cultural Center, 716 Ocean Blvd. Atlantic Beach. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Keep the Ferry task force in continuing the ferry operation across the St Johns River.
March 31, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM @ Dutton Island Preserve Pavilion
Get close to animals from around the world! Come explore and experience animals near and far. Adults and children will enjoy this one-hour program of close-up encounters with our "wild wonders." New program, "Animal Senses" second program each month. Learn about animal behavior, survival, feeding habits, and adaptations during this hands-on program. The City of Atlantic Beach offers this program twice a month at the Dutton Island Preserve Pavilion. This event is free and open to the public. Dutton Island Preserve Pavilion is located in Atlantic Beach off Mayport Rd at the west end of Dutton Island Rd. W on the intracoastal waterway.
