Utility Rates (Effective 10/01/12)
The Utility Rates in effect for Atlantic Beach Customers were adopted by Ordinance with a majority vote of the City Commission. The rates adopted are intended to recover the costs of operation, capital improvements, and debt service on Utility Revenue Bonds from which the proceeds were used to make needed system improvements.
The rate structure indicates that you will be billed in advance monthly for base charges on water, sewer, garbage and storm water. Volume charges on water and sewer used per month per thousand gallons is as follows:
