AUGUST FEATURED ARTIST - JAY SOLOMON
The Adele Grage Cultural Center presents Jay Solomon, Photographer and Painter, as the Featured Artist for August 2015.
Summing up his approach, he says: “My subjects are typically in plain sight. The things, people or settings we pass every day often attract me and become new and interesting because of light or texture, perspective or maybe an emotional connection. Natural phenomena – fog, smoke, shadows – enhanced by creative composition, can make the mundane mysterious. Among the common, uncommon images are lurking and my passion is to capture and share them.”
There will be an Artist Reception on August 20th from 5:00pm-9:00pm at the Adele Grage Cultural Center, 716 Ocean Blvd, Atlantic Beach, FL.
