Lien Letter Requests

The City Clerk’s office will provide a certified statement of liens or assessments owed to the City on any property located within our municipal boundaries. This information is most often requested by closing attorneys or banks when property is being sold or refinanced. 

 The City of Atlantic Beach  utilizes an online submission and tracking portal to complete lien and assessment research requests for properties within the City of Atlantic Beach.

The cost of each lien letter is $10 and non-refundable.  After your submission is received, a Customer Service Representative will call you for payment.  

After submitting a request you will be provided a tracking number and a security key. Once the research has been completed and payment has been received, you will use your tracking number and security key to access your documents via the online portal.

The City processes lien letter requests in the order they are received.  Please allow no less than 7 business days for processing upon receipt of payment.
