Hurricane Re-entry Passes

Duval County Emergency Management and the City of Atlantic Beach are no longer issuing or requiring Re-Entry passes In the event of a mandatory evacuation.  Public Re-Entry once it has been determined to be safe, may be limited to residents, business community and emergency workers needed to assist in the recovery process. 

The following documentation will be required once it has been determined that it is safe for citizens and the business community to return:

Residents  must provide a Florida ID with an Atlantic Beach address.  Citizens may also present a utility bill, tax receipt or similar documentation in conjunction with a state ID card to confirm the necessity to enter the beaches.

Business Community individuals not living in Atlantic Beach must provide a Florida ID and proof that they own, manage or are employed in Atlantic Beach.  Employees may present a payroll check or an employment identification card/ID in conjunction with a state ID card to confirm the necessity to enter the beaches.

The above documents will be required at the time of re-entry.
