"Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $3000 if the information given in the tip leads to an arrest." - First Coast Crime Stoppers website
First Coast Crime Stoppers is a volunteer organization formed in 2002 to help in the fight against crime. It was created to combat three major problems faced by law enforcement: fear of reprisal; an attitude of apathy; and reluctance to get involved. It is a community-oriented program that uses law enforcement, the community, and the media to fight crime. The mission of First Coast Crime Stoppers is to receive information anonymously and pay rewards for tips that lead to an arrest. They partner with law enforcement agencies, the media, and the community in solving crimes and getting criminals off the streets of our community.
