Chair Yoga - Held Mondays beginning on November 13 - 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Chair yoga is accessible to ALL and is FREE!
Benefits include:
- loosening & stretching muscles
- reducing chronic pain
- decreasing stress
- improving circulation
Classes will be held every Monday beginning on November 13 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Gail Baker Community Center, 2072 George St.
Tai-Chi - Held Tuesdays 11 a.m. - noon & Thursdays 2 - 3 p.m.
Tai Chi is a gentle, slow-moving mind-body exercise. The class is FREE.
Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. - noon and Thursdays from 2 - 3 p.m. at Adele Grage Cultural Center, 716 Ocean Blvd.
Preventative Health Care with Tai Chi - Held Tuesdays 5 - 6 p.m.
Instructor: SIFU Dan Jones
Dates: 8-week program on Tuesdays from 11/21/23 - 1/9/24 at 5 p.m.
Location: Adele Grage Cultural Center, 716 Ocean Blvd.
Tai Chi's basic motions will provide you with daily mental, physical, and emotional self-care to establish a solid healing foundation. This will continue to get stronger with time, allowing you to age without frailty for a lifetime of health and happiness.
Studies show over 70% of chronic diseases are directly caused by unchecked, long-term stress. Participants will learn how to manage and relieve stress while improving and maintaining good health for a lifetime!
Community Yoga - Wednesdays at Adele Grage Cultural Center - 9 a.m.
Join us for yoga every Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Adele Grage Cultural Center.
All levels are welcome, and it's FREE to attend.
All you need is to bring a mat and some water.
The class is taught by Tracy Marko.
Artisans' Faire - Thursday, November 30 - 4 - 8 p.m.

Christmas at the Continental - Friday, December 1
Celebrate "Christmas at the Continental," Friday, December 1st, from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Adele Grage Cultural Center, 716 Ocean Blvd.
It's free and open to the public. Join us for:
- Docents available to talk about Flager’s Atlantic Beach arrival
- North Pole Express model train's first annual stop at our “Atlantic Beach Station”
- Visit with Santa from 5p-6p
- Doubletake singing early 1900 Christmas songs
- Craft table to make Christmas tree ornaments
- Talks about “Christmas in the early 1900’s”
- Gingerbread Men cookies and punch.
This event is part of the new exhibit of the Flagler Railroad inside Adele Grage Cultural Center. You can visit the display during normal business hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Holiday Tree Lighting - Saturday, December 2
Brought to you by the Cities of Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, and the Beaches Town Center Agency, the tree lighting and holiday celebration will be lots of fun for the entire family, including crafts, entertainment, and photo opportunities with Santa. Songwriters Concert - December 17 - 6 p.m.
Enjoy the original sounds by local talent in Gulliford Hall at the Adele Grage Cultural Center.
Plan on being with us whether you write, sing, play, or enjoy listening to good music. Hosted by Roy Peak, local performers transform Gulliford Hall from 6-8 p.m. with original music creations. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
Seating is first come, first served for this admission-free, alcohol-free event. Performers should contact host Roy Peak at atlanticbeachmusic@gmail.com for more information.

Wreaths Across America - December 23 - 10 a.m. - Beaches Veterans Memorial Park
On December 16, 2023, at 10:00 am (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Beaches Memorial Park to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Senior Activities - Gail Baker Center
Atlantic Beach loves our Senior Citizens! Seniors, if you’re looking for something to do, join us at the Gail Baker Community Center, 2072 George St., with your friends and make some new ones.

Atlantic Beach is your beach. Please enjoy our beautiful beaches, keep it clean, and only leave footprints & paw prints behind.
The City of Atlantic Beach allows leashed dogs on the beach, except while in the water. Please respect your fellow beachgoers.
Weddings on the beach require a permit issued by the Cultural Arts & Recreation Department HERE.
Please dispose of all trash and pet droppings in the trash receptacles provided at each beach access. Respect others while on the beach and be safe. Thank you for making "your" Atlantic Beach beautiful!
