The City of Atlantic Beach, FL is currently soliciting sealed bids from licensed General Contractors that are registered, and permitted to work in the state of Florida, to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the complete reconstruction  of,  and along Donner Road, located in Atlantic Beach.  This project will be completed in two (2) phases.

**This project is funded in whole or in part by the Federal Government, and bidders will be required to abide by their regulations, as well as the City's.**

No representative or affiliate of your company shall attempt to contact the City, or a representative of, or legal counsel by phone, in person, or in any other manner, other than the dedicated contact person.

All information related to this bid is available from the City's site free of charge, and the City will not have knowledge of those that have a serious interest in this project. A list of attendees of the MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be posted to the City's site.
Bidders must show proof of a current General Contractors license, and permitted to do business in the state of Florida. Bidders must provide proof of being in business under the same company name, and tax identification number for at least five (5) consecutive years. Bidders must also show proof of five (5) years' experience with projects of similar size, and nature. You must include the project owner, project name, description of the project, and point of contact with phone and e-mail address. Special Requirements:
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 in the City Hall Commission Chambers located at 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, FL, 32233. Bids will only be considered from those companies that attended the MANDATORY pre-bid meeting. An authorized representative of your company should attend, and will be required to sign in. Attendees are encouraged to provide a business card with their contact information, including an e-mail address. This is an opportunity for questions to be asked, learn more about the project, and CDBG requirements, and complete a site visit to familiarize yourself with the work site, and working conditions. Bidders are responsible for staying informed of any changes or addenda related to this project. All addenda, including questions and answers will be posted to the City's site.
Bids shall be submitted in TRIPLICATE with one (1) being an original, and identified as such, and two (2) hard copies, and one (1) digital copy of the complete original. Bids shall be submitted as three (3) complete bid packages, and delivered in the same envelope/package. All bids must be received by 2:45 pm of the bid opening date. Bids received after this deadline will not be considered - NO EXCEPTIONS. The outside of the delivered package must clearly state your company name, bid number, bid title, and bid opening date, and shall be addressed to the City of Atlantic Beach, Procurement Office, 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233. The City is NOT responsible for the timeliness of bids that are shipped through USPS, FedEx, UPS, Selected Courier, or any other method of shipping. Please review the Submittal Instructions to avoid possible disqualification of your bid.
