Donner Road construction underway
Traffic will be impacted with detours for several months, at least. Please carefully follow the signage; at times, the road will be completely closed to traffic. Please make a special effort to avoid parking on the Donner Road right-of-way during daylight.
Project Goals
Improve Vehicle Transit
- Construct standard-width lanes
- Install curb-and-gutter
- Pedestrian safety
- Eliminate the mid-block crosswalk at Jordan Street
- Construct 8’ multi-use path
Drainage
- Construct a new drainage system
- Provide future connection to stormwater drain from Stanley Road
Utilities
- Replace aging emergency outfall line
- Repair water and sewer lines
Aesthetics
- Construct a new board-on-board 6’ fence along the entire southern edge of the right-of-way
- Regrade dry stormwater pond at Sandpiper Lane
