To improve our city's water infrastructure, the City of Atlantic Beach will be replacing 33 water services on Garden Lane and the 300 Block of 20th Street. This important project is part of our ongoing Capital Improvement Plan. Work is scheduled to begin in early August and is expected to be completed by the end of September, weather permitting.
Crews will be replacing existing water service lines, taps, and meter boxes. If a water tap is currently located in a driveway, it will be relocated. After the work is complete, any disturbed areas (such as concrete, asphalt, or sod) will be restored to their original condition.
Please be aware that this work will result in temporary road closures and brief water outages for affected residents. We'll ensure you receive a notification before any planned water outages occur.
