The City of Atlantic Beach is excited to announce a new pilot project to improve beach access for people with disabilities at the Ahern Street beach access point. A new Mobi-Mat is now in place, providing a firm, roll-out pathway across the sand. This innovative mat makes it significantly easier for people using wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, or other mobility devices to get closer to the ocean.
