Promoting Racial Equity

The City of Atlantic Beach is reflecting on the organization’s commitment to working with the community to continue to address racial inequity through sustained action. As such, the City Commission is having a series of workshops to define, design, and organize racial equity plans and activities across this local government and community. The public is invited to attend and participate.

  •  6 p.m. Monday, June 15, Commission Chamber of City Hall, 800 Seminole Road
  •  6 p.m. Thursday, June 25, Jordan Community Center, 1671 Francis Ave.
  •  6 p.m.  Monday, June 29, Baker Community Center, 2072 George St. (postponed due to COVID-19 safety concerns)
  •  10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, Adele Grage Cultural Center, 716 Ocean Blvd. (postponed due to COVID-19 safety concerns)
