AB Youth Council gets ‘Halloweeny’ for Hospice

Halloweeny2Atlantic Beach Youth Council members had some Halloween fun this week – for a good cause.

The youth group’s "Halloweeny" Wizard of Oz display on the porch at Adele Grage Cultural Center on Ocean Drive supports "Halloween Doors & More," a new special event to support Community Hospice PedsCare.

“The kids poured their hearts and creativity into this. It was so much fun joining them for this. Check it out,” said Mayor Ellen Glasser.

Participants in the Community Hospice holiday activity are encouraged to deck out their front door, front yard, garage door – wherever your imagination leads you. Decorators are provided a yard sign indicating their support of the event and to help identify the location as a Halloween Doors Safari destination.

The Halloween Doors Safari run Oct. 11-18; a road map and more information is available at www.communityhospice.com/foundation/foundation-events.
