Lieutenant Jamison began his career with the Atlantic Beach Police Department in 2005, serving as a Reserve Police Officer while working as an Emergency Communications and Animal Control Officer. In 2006, Lieutenant Jamison transferred to full-time patrol officer. He served as a Field Training Officer and a member of the Traffic Enforcement Unit as a DUI/Traffic Officer. Lieutenant Jamison also served as a detective in both the Crime Suppression Unit and General Investigations Unit before being promoted to Sergeant in 2016. In 2021, Lieutenant Jamison was promoted to Lieutenant and currently serves as the Administrative Lieutenant. He currently oversees the Operations & Enforcement Division.
