The project’s scope of work has been updated to adhere to budgetary constraints and the update has been approved by the Florida Department of Emergency Management and Federal Emergency Management Agency. The next step is for the Florida Department of Emergency Management to develop and execute contract modifications for both phases. Executing the contract modifications is expected to be completed by May 2025 after passing through the internal programmatic and legal reviews process. A timeline will then be established for the construction of the project.
Jax Utilities Management will complete the work; the revised construction cost is $2,934,751.
